The Gordon Biersch Beers

Märzen (5.7% alcohol content)
Märzen is a smooth, mildly sweet, auburn colored lager. This beer originates from Bavaria where it was brewed in March ("Märzen" in German) and stored in caves to be enjoyed during warmer weather. At the end of September, any remaining kegs of Märzen were consumed during the two week celebration which became known as Oktoberfest.

Hefeweizen (5.4% alcohol content)
Gordon Biersch brews a true Bavarian Hefeweizen. The flavor has hints of clove, bubble gum and banana. True to the name and style, our Hefeweizen is unfiltered with the yeast still present. The body is crisp and effervescent. This beer is brewed with 55% malted wheat and 45% malted barley. Gordon Biersch Hefeweizen is naturally carbonated as are all Gordon Biersch Beers.

Blonde Bock (7% alcohol content)
Blonde Bock is a medium hopped beer with a rich, malty flavor. Made popular in the early 1600s, bock beers were originally brewed by monks to minimize hunger pangs during fasting periods. Most Bock beers are dark in color. The Gordon Biersch Blonde Bock is golden with a rich creamy head.

Pi l sner (5.3% alcohol content)
Pilsner is a crisp, golden, highly hopped lager. This beer was first brewed in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia in 1842 using a sample of special yeast smuggled from Germany by a Czech monk. Until this time all beers were dark and cloudy. The new Czech Pilsner was the first beer to be brewed clear and golden.

The Speakeasy Ales and Lagers

Big Daddy I.P.A. (6.5% Alcohol Content)
No light-weight, Big Daddy I.P.A. tips the scales with huge hop flavor and a dry, clean finish that leaves the scene without a trace. Pale in color with hop aromas, this dry and crisp beer has a balanced flavor with a hint of toasted malt character.

Prohibi t ion ale (6.1% Alcohol Content)
Prohibition ale is a boldly hopped amber ale that strikes a perfect balance between caramel maltiness and aggressive hopping. Amber in color with caramel notes and citrus hop aroma that has a good balance between malt and hops on palate with a clean hoppy finish.

Untouchable Pale Ale (5.4% Alcohol Content)
Untouchable does justice to the American Pale Ale, enforcing a strict balance of arresting hop flavor and a smooth maltiness that’s just undercover. Pale in color. A balanced beer with unique hop & malt interaction. Clean finish with lingering hops

Rabbit's Foot Meadery

Rabbi t’s Foot Meadery Sweet Mead (12% alcohol content)
The finest honey wine in the world. Full of floral aromas of wildflowers and fragrant jasmine and a wonderful lingering sweetness.

Rabbi t’s Foot Meadery Dry Mead (13% alcohol content)
2003 Bronze Medal Winner - Unlike other honey wines, this mead is fermented to be dry and pairs well with spicy dishes like curry. The higher alcohol and oakiness has made this mead to be likened to sherry or bourbon in aroma and character.

Red Branch Hard Apple Cider (6.9% alcohol content)
Full of apple flavor, sweeter than most other hard ciders and a great full body.

Red Branch Hard Lemonade Cider (6.9% alcohol content)
Don't settle for some imitation hard lemonade made from cheap beer. Get a tall glass, a little ice and pour yourself the finest hard lemonade you can get.

Noreast Beers

ERDINGER HEFE WEIS (Cloudy) 5.3% abv
Erdinger Hefe is brewed using fine yeast in accordance with a traditional recipe and in strict adherence to the Bavarian purity law pf 1516. Unlike the majority of alternative wheat beer brands Erdinger Hefe is still bottle fermented using the ‘champagne method’ and takes at least 4 weeks to mature.

ERDINGER KRISTALL (Clear) 5.3% abv
This speciality wheat beer gets its ‘crystal clear’ appearance from a particularly long filtration process known as ‘fine filtration’. This gives Erdinger Kristall it’s sparkling and refreshing character which makes it the ideal wheat beer for warm summer days.

ERDINGER DUNKEL (Dark) 5.6% abv
This dark speciality beer owes it’s full bodied flavour to the fine hops and dark malt used in it’s production. Like all Erdinger wheat beers, this dark variety also acquires its typical flavour from maturing in the bottle.

ERDINGER NON-ALCOHOLIC 0.4% abv
Non-alcoholic beers have not always enjoyed a favourable reputation in Ireland and this is largely due to the fact that they don’t taste so good. One exception to this rule is Erdinger Non-Alcoholic which through a unique brewing process is brewed to a very low alcohol level (0.4%) so that none of the flavour or surplus alcohol needs to be stripped out after production as is the case with most other brands

ERDINGER OKTOBERFEST 5.7% abv

In Bavaria there has been a longstanding tradition of brewing slightly stronger beers for the Oktoberfest season. Based on this tradition the ERDINGER Oktoberfest brew comes with a higher malt content and a higher alcohol content of 5,7% by volume giving it a particularly full-bodied character.

KROMBACHER PILS  4.8% abv

The taste of Pilsner is quite decisively charachterised by the water it is brewed with and the secret of the unique taste of Krombacher Pils lies above all else, in the fresh, pure and low mineral natural spring water from the Rothaar mountains. The finest aromatic hops from the Hallertau region, brewing malt from double row summer barley and Kromacher’s own young, fresh yeast cultures in addition to the soft spring water results in Krombacher’s uniquely refreshing taste.

BUDEJOVICKY BUDVAR 5% abv
Budejovicky Budvar is the result of carefully nurtured classical brewing techniques combined with modern technology and the finest natural ingredients. The most gentle heads of the high quality Zatec hop, virgin clear natural water and granules of select Moravian barley make it the beverage of choice for true beer lovers.

Bishops Finger 5.4% abv
The dominant character of this particular ale is its generous, fruity flavour reminiscent of bananas and pears with citrus overtones. Full-bodied, nut brown, nourishing ale with a lingering hoppy finish. Bishops Finger is an ideal companion to food or it can serve as a delicious digestive after a meal.

Spitfire 4.5% abv
Crafted from traditional varieties of English malt, this golden ale combines an underlying depth of maltiness, tinged with a subtle hint of toffee, with the bold citrus and fruitiness of Kentish hops, to produce a well balanced, thirst quenching ale.

Whitstable Bay Organic Ale 4.5% abv
This elegant, light beer is backed by the impressive essentials of traditionally farmed, English malted barley and organic hops from New Zealand which fuse to produce a bitter sweet flavour with floral overtones and a dry finish. Fully accredited by the soil association.

Celebration Ale 6.5% abv
Generously malty ale whose leisurely toffee, butter and sultana flavours are kept clean and balanced by the lavish use of fragrant Kentish hops. This bottle conditioned ale is “thrice hopped” – hops are added three times during the brewing process which gives the beer its strong hoppy character.

Master Brew 4% abv
Brewed using only the finest Kentish barley and hops. A clean, dry and refreshing session bitter, having a touch of sweetness but displaying an assertive and vibrant hop with a lingering bitter finish.

Aspall Organic 7% abv
A strong and robust cyder made from 100% ‘fresh pressed’ organically grown cyder apples with a full cyder flavour. Aspall organic cyder is the perfect accompaniment to smoked fish.

Aspall Draught 5.5% abv
A full apple flavour cider that captures the essence of an orchard. Light on the tongue with a clean, crisp, refreshing apple taste. Made from 100% pressed apples as opposed to concentrate. Ideally suited for accompanying meals or as a refreshing drink on it’s own.

Duché de Longueville 50cl 5% abv
Duché de longueville is a naturally sparkling vintage cider from Normandy made exclusively from pure pressed apple juice (not concentrate). This cider has a fine mousse that comes from the natural fermentation and is made from a minimum of 90% "gros oeillet" apples a varietal highly regarded in Normandy for its delicious flavour and thirst-quenching acidity

1795 Budejovicke Pivo 4.7%
A bohemian pilsner, this Czech Pivo (beer) is appreciated for its golden colour, smooth taste and well balanced bitterness. Malted using their own barley, using Saaz hop flowers (the best of all hops) and drawing pure soft water form 270 meters underground, 1795 is classic Premium Czech Lager.

Duvel 8.5 %
This world renowned ale is extremely fragrant and has flavours reminiscent of orange zest, pear brandy and green apples. Duvel has a fruity dry aroma, owed to the finest hops. Blond Maredsous

Weihenstephan Hefe Weissbier
Hefe Weissbier is a cloudy wheat beer with a smooth malt background wonderfully rich yeast flavours, spicy, with fruity banana overtones and reminiscent of clove. ABV 5.4%

Weihenstephan Hefe Weissbier Dunkel
Hefe Weissbier Dunkel has flavours of dark malts and a rich fruitiness of banana. Reminiscent of clove, complemented by hints of apple and cinnamon. ABV 5.4%

Weihenstephan Kristall Weissbier
Kristall Weissbier is refreshingly effervescent with banana and tropical flavours. Intensely spicy aroma with powerful hints of cloves and gentle hints of hops. ABV 5.4%

Weihenstephan Vitus
Vitus has a very powerful flavour, lots of ripe banana and tropical flavours. Good sweetness and alcohol in balance. Full malt background, rich yeast Flavours, spicy and reminiscent of clove. ABV 7.7%

Weihenstephan Original Alkoholfrei
Original Alkoholfrei is a flowery, golden larger, sweet tasting with a big malty aroma, low on calories and refreshing. ABV 0.5%

Weihenstephan Hefe Weissbier Alkoholfrei

Weihenstephan Tradition Bayrisch Dunkel
Tradition Bayrisch Dunkel is an aromatic beer with a malty character. It has a mild sweetness, full rich body and a light sparkling flavour. ABV 5.2%

Maredsous 10

HouGaarden Grand Cru

Chimay Rouge

Maisel Weisse
A classic German wheat beer from Bayreuth. It is a hazy pale brown in colour and contains natural yeast sediment. It has a superb aroma of spices – coriander to the fore – and ripe bananas. Banana builds in the mouth, balanced by spices and ripe malt. The finish is long and complex: yeasty, spicy, fruity and wonderfully refreshing. 

Maisel Weisse Dunkel
The fine, typical clove and lemon notes are there, with just a touch of chocolate and spicy sultana cake. On the palate this has a broad, generous texture, with the creaminess of the beer spiked by clove and burnt toffee brittle notes. 

Spaten Lager
In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Flavor profile: Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Chateau Neuborg Pilsner

Korenwolf Witbier
Korenwolf, a unique wheat beer (white beer!), brewed using a combination of four grains; wheat, spelt, barley and rye. The secret of “Waere Witte” (the true white) is this unique mix of grains grown in Limburg , along with aromatic herbs and elderflowers.

Gulpener Rose

James Boags
Rated as one of Australia’s is a European style lager brewed from the finest quality pilsner malts. Wonderful light, slightly grassy lager, hints of vanilla on the nose and a clean, crisp finish. 

Mac's Gold
Mac's Gold has a light fruitiness with hints of citrus and sweet malt. The subtle mid palate bitterness of the hops is balanced by a smooth, delicate caramel sweetness that leaves a crisp finish and refreshing aftertaste. 

Kirin Ichiban

Beer Bucks
Beer Bucks (drink tokens) must be used to purchase beer at the festival. They are available inside the venue on the day. 1 Beer Buck = €1. Beer Bucks are sold in units of €10. Beer Bucks are non-refundable.
